PC in 2005, Gary drew on his education (a degree in Computerized Business Management), his
experience with building computers, and his many years of working as a contractor in the

current, Gary works with the latest releases of Microsoft products. He and Clare build
ASP.NET websites in Microsoft’s Visual Studio®, in all versions, including the most
Plus, they use SQL Server (a database management system), Adobe® Flash®,
and other popular tools as they design and create e-commerce sites as well.
Gary also builds custom desktop applications and business solutions.
✓ Tech consultant Gary’s
professional experience includes several years of providing online instruction for beginning
Visual Basic programmers, plus 25 years as a project manager for the city of Seattle. In 2007,
he built a multi-tiered Windows application for the city, to handle large-scale project and budget

Web surfer led Clare to design her first website in 1999. Ever since, she has kept her
philosophy simple: design and build user-friendly websites that are easy on the eyes and
easy to navigate.
This commitment to accessibility is exemplified by her work as Webmaster and
Associate Editor for the online litmag, Serving House Journal.
✓ Writer Clare holds a BA degree in
English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing, and has studied Technical Communication at the
graduate level. She has 25 years of experience with writing for business and medical professionals.
Now and then, Clare finds time to write short fiction and creative nonfiction. Her work has been
published most recently in the anthology, Winter Tales II: Women on the Art of Aging.
✓ Editor Reading, writing, and tinkering
with words are among Clare’s lifelong passions. She has 35 years of experience
with business, academic, and technical copyediting.
Projects included: Microsoft Access 2000 Development: Unleashed (a manual
for intermediate-level programmers), and The Birds of Yakima County (a comprehensive text
for ornithologists published by Yakima Valley Audubon Society).
She also served for eight years as technical editor at the University of Washington, where she
was responsible for the accuracy of the Equivalency Guide, a 600-page manual for academic
advisers. Her enthusiastic attention to detail expanded online Course Equivalency Tables to 18,000
